Sorry for the slow response... I am overseas just now and internet is sometimes not available. I just wanted to say Thank You to all of you for your comments. They give me a lift. Be back soon......
That is the coolest spoon ever.
Great design and nice finish!
Fine Working and a very good idea. I have never seen wood like that. It recalls lacewood.
Fantastic concept and the wood grain of the macadamia wood is perfect, it looks just like scales!
Love the way the wood has scales naturally! :}
Macadamia is one of several woods that have that sort of grain pattern... which look kind of 'scaly'.
This is so beautiful! The curves look so natural, very realistic. I'm a sucker for snakes and would love to have something like this. Awesome!
That is so kind of you to say. I have always thought snakes to be remarkably beautiful.... and full of grace. I suppose they got a bad rap with the Adam and Eve story. <grin> Thank you. ~ Terry
Thank all of you for your comments. I appreciate them. BlumenStrasse.... that macadamia wood does have a sort of snake like grain. Thanks again.
Love how the grain goes with the shape. really brings out the "snake"!
That would definitely be a conversation starter at a coffee table. I don't imagine it's really strong enough for every day use, as it's carved and not formed to the shape.
Imagine this sticking out of your bowl of soup on a dreary day! Beautiful work.
That's beautiful! What a cool idea.
i want one.
I like the idea xD it's pretty cool!!!!!
Sinsister, yet beautiful!
